That is what I do; follow my passion. I take flack for it from time to time, but the desire never waivers.
I have done many things in my short, but eclectic life. I have tended to animals in pet stores, tended to patients in ambulances, modeled, filed, created and folded companies, and even now I am raising two children.
While my children are the bright spot of my personal life, I have never found more satisfaction from a "job" than I do from watching the read counter on my latest published article rise.
Topics will waiver, from facts about cats to relationships, from NASCAR’s latest winner to the job markets last downturn. The fact remains, I love what I do.
Like many “freelancers”, my passion takes a back seat to the tasks that earn me suitable living funds, after all even a part time job is a job that puts food on the table. But every spare moment of every day that I’m not tending to my kids or working in an office, I’m thinking about writing.
Some say it makes me a dreamer, others say I’ve lost touch with reality, but truth is I was born with only three desires, to sing, to write, and to love.
I’ll fight the negativity, the doubters, the sharks of the business and the sheep in wolves clothing to continue to toward my goal.
I am a writer, and I’m here to work.
